Corporate Controller
Jacksonville, Florida · Accounting/FinanceRomack Financial has partnered with a rapidly growing real estate investment firm that is looking to add an energetic “builder” as their Corporate Controller. This role manages and provides oversight of balance sheets, invoices, accounts payable/accounts receivable and the management of team members. This role is onsite, provides excellent benefits and is eligible for bonus.

- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
- 5-7 years of finance/accounting experience
- Working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
- Advanced knowledge of accounting software and financial analysis, NetSuite preferred
- Knowledgeable on monthly and year end book closings
- Knowledgeable about tax preparation
- Managerial/interpersonal skills
- Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, preferably an MBA and/or CPA
- Assist leadership with important financial decisions regarding the direction of the company and where to allocate capital
- Effectively manage team members who are responsible for maintaining up to date and reconciled financials
- Keep current on individual corporate business’, the real estate market, and current events to identify potential expansion and growth opportunities
- Provide recommendations for opportunities and improvements on corporate operating procedures
- Work closely with marketing, acquisition, and disposition departments; maintain an overall understanding on the flow of capital and profits through the various YBE businesses
- Maintain transparent understanding of company financials to maintain legal requirements to keep YBE in good standing
- Run alignment meetings for all reports in the YBE Financial Department
