The Application Developer Jr will develop, modify, and implement applications and web services to meet business and technical requirements, as directed by a senior developer. This position will communicate with project team members and, possibly, business units to develop technical requirements and create high level technical designs by analyzing business requirements, functional requirements, and systems architecture. Develops well designed and rigorously tested software code that satisfies business and technical requirements. Analyzes legacy code and makes modifications in accordance with direction from senior developers. Assist with the testing and implementation of applications and web services
  • Utilize established development tools, guidelines and conventions including but not limited to Visual Studio, C3 .NET, SQL Server, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Provide C# .NET programmer/analyst services to design, develop, and document web service integrations with third-party systems
  • Develop integration services or programs to connect back end systems (IBM iSeries/DB2 and SQL Server)
  • Writes and debugs Microsoft SQL Server stored procedures
  • Write technical requirements and test plans for new applications and program change requests
  • Attend project meetings as required
  • Create new and extend existing operational documentation  
 Job Requirements
  • 1+ years experience working with and developing with C# .NET, Visual Studio, ASP.NET and VB.NET.
  • 1+ year's experience working with SQL Server and developing SQL stored procedure
  • Some experience in application design and development
  • Some experience with design and development of SQL tables/records
  • Application trouble-shooting and debugging skills
  • Experience using a change control system , like Team Foundation Server
  • Experience developing web services (REST, SOAP)
  • Ability to work well in team or individual environments
  • Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment
  • Ability to handle multiple concurrent assignments and changing priorities
  • Good professional presentation and demeanor
