Call Center Representative
Duration:  Contract to hire
Hourly Pay:  $13/hr. Nonnegotiable
Conversion Salary:  Will negotiate with client once the client brings this individual on as a permanent (salary) employee.
Location:  Irving, TX area
Job Summary:

  • 99.9% of the calls will be inbound.
  • Candidate will be in a reservation sales position offering, to the customer, private label services to 80 or more independent and chain hotels. 
  • The main objective of this sales position will be extending the length of the phone call with the customer in an attempt to sell new or additional products and/or services.
  • Must be flexible with schedule; could include working days, nights, weekends and holidays. Client works on a 4 month shift, so if the candidate is unhappy with a particular schedule, they won't have it for more than 4 months.  Obviously the longer this individual has been in this position and gains seniority, the better chance he/she will get the schedule he/she prefers.  Remember, this is a contract to hire.
  • Uses computerized system for tracking, information gathering, and/or troubleshooting.

 
Required Experience:

  • HS diploma/GED or equivalent. Associate degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of related experience.
  • Solid computer software skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
