In the role of Hardline Materials Analyst, you will work with cross-functional teams to ensure all missing material specification and attributes are gathered and inserted into the material master data worksheets. In addition, actively participate on teams that include category managers to identify missing product attributes and work with suppliers to research and identify missing material attributes associated with hardware products.

We need an individual that has the ability to:
  • Collect, analyze, and qualify missing material master data.
  • The selected individual will be integrated into the lines of business organizations and work closely with their colleagues to understand their specific requirements.
  • The position requires an individual who has the proven ability to be conversant with vendors in order to collect missing material values of the hard goods we source:
    • Typical missing material values for hard lines, fasteners, nuts bolts, specifically include: UPCs, Dimensions: Length, Width and Height; Weight of Material / Item / Product; Alternate Unit of Measure, thread count, material type, etc.
  • The role will require the selected candidate to consolidate and reconcile their finding into the Missing Material Characteristic Worksheet for the respective divisions.
  • The selected candidate must have experience working to deadlines and being responsible for project deliverables.
  • The ideal candidate would include an individual who is capable and coachable to assist the product category managers in gathering all missing material information.

  • Experience in driving inventory turn improvements, capacity management, and process improvements.
  • Understanding of supply chain, vendor relations, analysis and interpretation of materials requirements, analyze purchase orders and product inventory schedules.
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems to provide the necessary missing material information in a timely manner.
  • Strong ability to analyze raw materials data and draw conclusions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to take initiative, make independent judgments/decisions.
  • Ability to take leadership roles; set objectives; drive results; team player; strong leader.
  • Strong math aptitude.
  • Good organization skills and attention to details and accuracy.
  • Ability to respond to changing priorities.
  • Ability to coordinate and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Computer knowledge with Word and proficient Microsoft Excel skills are essential.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
